Jerry Fairlie, Saxophonist

My name is Jerry Fairlie and my association with Mountain Ranch is through music. I am a saxophonist and played with friends in Mountain Ranch.

During the fire, I received emails from friends addressing the concern that the Butte Fire was closing in fast and they may have to evacuate. Sadly, many people lost everything.

I’m from Folsom and recently went to Mountain Ranch to see firsthand the devastation. When I got home, I knew I had to do something. I have several musician friends and decided to have a benefit concert. No one has turned me down to perform.

The City of Folsom is partnering with me by allowing me to use the Folsom Community Center for the concert. The theme is “Folsom Families Care.”

All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Mountain Ranch Community. Fund will be dispersed by local leaders for their residence needs.

I have never been so dedicated to helping the people of Mountain Ranch. They are a hardy lot and don’t ask for much, but they need us now.

You can find me on YouTube under Jerry Fairlie. My website is jerryfairlie.com.
